This has been a meaningful experience. I’m blessed for the opportunity McLaren has given me to come up with this work of art. Painting is like an escape; I can be whoever or whatever I want to be when I’m in my element. Henri Matisse once said that “creativity takes courage,” and I’m glad I took on this challenge fearlessly with every brushstroke to realise the image I had in my head.
